What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive facial treatment designed to exfoliate your skin and remove dead skin cells and fine “peach fuzz” hair (vellus hair). Unlike traditional shaving, which only removes hair, dermaplaning also rejuvenates the skin’s surface. Your aesthetician will use a sterile surgical scalpel to scrape the skin gently to remove those dead skin cells as well as any peach fuzz.
(PSA: THIS IS NOT THE SAME THING AS A TINKLE RAZOR- just trust us. Don’t try at home!!!)
This process reveals a smoother and brighter layer of skin, setting dermaplane apart from other exfoliating methods.
