PRF, or “Liquid Gold” as we like to call it, is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body. PRFM stands for Platelet Rich Fibrin, which is one of the most natural ways to induce collagen. The main benefit of PRF is that is employs your body’s own cells through drawing the patient’s blood, processing it and then using it for the treatment. The amazing benefits of PRF can be used to stimulate hair growth, diminish the appearance of scarring, treat wrinkles and lines, encourage the body’s production of collagen, and much more.
In simple terms, PRF injections use your own blood to help rejuvenate your skin. It contains autologous growth factors that stimulate and enhance the healing response. PRF bears similarities to the popular PRP treatments athletes sometimes undergo for injuries and is rapidly replacing PRP because PRF contains more platelets and also contains leukocytes that accelerate the healing of soft and hard tissue. The main benefit of PRF is that it employs your body’s own cells in a way to promote the health of your skin. PRF injections start with one of our technicians drawing blood which is then placed inside a centrifuge. After the blood is done spinning, the PRF becomes separated from other blood components and withdrawn from the top of the vial. Once completed, the PRF is then injected into the treatment area.

FACIAL INJECTIONS

Platelet Rich Fibrin is injected strategically into areas of the face to stimulate collagen, tighten the skin, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This treatment requires is to draw your blood, so stay hydrated 24 hours prior to your appointment.
SCAR TREATMENT
Platelet Rich Fibrin is injected to diminish the appearance of scarring from injuries, stretch marks, or surgical procedures. This treatment can dramatically reduce the appearance of scars from breast augmentation, tummy tuck, or knee replacement surgeries. You may need a series of 3-4 treatments for optimum results. Please come 15 minutes early for numbing. This treatment also requires us to draw your blood, so stay hydrated 24 hours prior to your appointment.
HAIR RESTORATION

Have you noticed thinning and recent hair loss? PRF might be the answer for you! PRF is like fertilizer for your hair. You will need a series of 3-4 treatments with each treatment being separated by 4-6 weeks to allow the hair to grow. Optimum results can be achieved over a 4-9 month time frame. This treatment requires us to draw your blood, so stay hydrated 24 hours prior to your appointment.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
For injection on the face you will notice results within a few days that will then flatten and rebuild up again. You will then begin to see noticeable results around the one to two month mark. PRF is a slower, but longer lasting process.
PRF is performed in a series of treatments, spaced six to eight weeks apart. Results typically last one to three weeks and the volume will essentially dissipate. Long-term effects, such as skin tightening, collagen production and enhanced skin quality, may take up to three to four months to be noticed and can last from six to 12 months. The visibility of expected benefits and results of the PRF treatment is typically seen after six weeks from initial treatment.
You may experience some bruising following your treatment, but the downtime is minimal! All in all, most PRF injections have no discomfort afterward!
