Hey guys!
Sara here, Licensed Medical Aesthetician at Park Place Medical Spa in Granger.
Two very common questions we get asked at Park Place are:
-
What’s the difference between a HydraFacial & a Glo2Facial?
-
Which one should I get?!
Well, I’d love to tell you…
HydraFacial
Hydrafacial is PHENOMENAL at making you feel clean and, well, hydrated! Hydrafacial allows the aesthetician to use a handpiece that physically (and chemically) exfoliates and extracts while simultaneously hydrating and introducing nutrients and corrective ingredients to your skin.
Here in Granger, we offer 3 levels of facials: Express, Deluxe & Platinum. Express facials are 30 minutes, Deluxe facials are 1 hour, and Platinum facials are 1.5 hours (90 minutes). All include the three basic HydraFacial steps: Exfoliation, Extraction, and Hydration. Express does not include dermaplaning but it can be added on for an additional $50. Deluxe and Platinum do include dermaplaning are are The Girls favorite options when choosing a facial. On that note, Park Place’s Deluxe and Platinum editions also include corrective serums while the Express does not.
Whether you have never had a facial treatment, haven’t had a facial in quite a while, or looking to book a treatment for your teen, HydraFacial is an excellent choice for anyone of any age!
Glo2Facial
Our Glo2Facial in Granger on the other hand is an oxygen-based facial. Where HydraFacial extracts and adds using serums, Glo2 allows your body to do its thing by stimulating a burst of oxygen to the skin. I mean, Glo2 is so sassy she even has a little spice. That spice is called oxfoliation™ and is why these facials are super bubbly.
Glo2Facials raise your NATURAL glow to varsity level. It is an excellent (and safe) option right before gameday or your next family photo session. Glo2Facial is boss when it comes to extending your customized facial experience outside of the treatment room – your hydration and glow will be with you for five to seven days!! That, my friends, is both rare AND spectacular.
Glo2Facials with The Girls in Granger have two main steps. The first step is oxfoliation™ mentioned above, and the second step is ultrasound technology with an accompanying serum and this what really packs that hydration-punch for your customized treatment. It is an instant transformation seen (and felt) by both patient and provider.
Love to be out in the sun? Both facial treatments are for all skin types, all year round, and both men and women, so there is no need to worry!
If you’re still unsure which option is best for you and your skin, book one or the other and we can consult with you during your appointment to figure out which one is best for you.
At the end of the day, if you’re still feeling iffy – book a complimentary consult with your provider of choice and we will answer any questions you may have and connect you with the treatment that best fits your current needs.
